Curing Poor Posture: Part 2

One week later. My goal was to better my posture while working at my desk. I designed a plan. I set a timer for 30 minutes, at the end of which I did a 20 second chair stretching exercise. Then I restarted my timer and at the next reminder I made myself get up and move about for a minute before I sat back down. I repeated this cycle throughout the day, as long as I remained sitting.

Stress in small doses can actually be good for us. It can motivate, excite and energize which ultimately makes us happier and healthier. In the work place, employees who are focused and put in the hours without a fight are often the most creative and efficient, as well as being great problem solvers.
